Pewterers Company - 16

An older company, earliest reference is in 1348, the makers of vessels of pewter. From 1474, pewter was a good material for plates, dishes and drinking vessels. Trade marks were used as marks of master Pewterers. After the introduction of tea the trade declined 

The third company hall is in Oat Lane, and includes panelling and chandeliers from the original hall in Lime Street.
