The Great Hall - Guildhall

Built in 1411, the Great Hall is where royalty and state visitors are still entertained.
It is 152 feet long, the walls are 5 feet thick, and there are many monuments to national heroes.

Monument to Admiral Lord Nelson, who was an Honorary freeman of the Drapers Company

Monument to the Duke of Wellington, an Honorary freeman of the Merchant Taylors

Monument to Sir Winston Churchill, honorary member of the Mercers Company.

There are statues of two giants, Gog and Magog who are the protectors of the City of London. These pair lead the procession in The Lord Mayors Show.
